After extensive research it was discovered that our location was prime for vines based on our geography and also due to the rich alluvial plain soil our location is blessed with. At 1832 feet above sea level, with a cool mountain breeze, and unique soils, it was decided the land was the perfect place to produce the highest quality wine.
Bear Claw Vineyards was created on the foundation of top quality wine and a soothing, relaxing aesthetic.
To share the beauty of the land with others seeking rest, relaxation, and restoration the Treehouse Guys from the DIY network came out and built a treehouse on the property. The Blue Ridge Treehouse is available for nightly rental. Check out the link above!
